Greg Moore

Greg Moore, CSCS

With over thirteen years of coaching experience, Greg brings a unique skill set to the St. Vincent Sports Performance Center.  Since joining the St. Vincent Sports Performance Team in January 2005, Greg has coordinated a unique speed and acceleration program that he has developed by gleaning the very best techniques and progressions espoused by the foremost leaders in the sports performance industry to create a solid system of training that guarantees a quicker, more efficient athlete on the court or field of play.

A quiet technician, Greg seeks athlete feedback in an atmosphere of partnership and sharing which enables the athlete to progress at a much faster rate than is the norm.  Over the years, Greg has had the opportunity to work with athletes as young as 7 years of age and as seasoned as 70 years of age, including three Olympic Gold Medal Winners.

Greg is in his sixth season as the Indiana Fever’s Strength and Conditioning Coach, returning in 2005 after moving to Kansas City, Kansas for one year.  While in Kansas City, Greg held the position of Sports Performance Director for Velocity Sports Performance.

During his previous stint in Indianapolis, Moore was the Director of Athletic Performance and Youth Development for the National Institute for Fitness and Sport (NIFS), where he designed, supervised and administered strength, speed, power and agility programs for hundreds of athletes annually.  He served in that capacity since 1998, and had been with NIFS since 1992.

Greg graduated from the University of Sioux Falls (South Dakota) with a bachelor’s degree in Wellness Program Management/Fitness Leadership in 1992.  The South Dakota native holds certifications with the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the American College of Sports Medicine.
