Stephanie Young CSCS, USAW
Stephanie is one of the newest additions to the St. Vincent Sports Performance Staff. She brings an attitude of hard work and dedication. As an athlete herself, she understands what is needed to take an athlete to the next level. Not only does she expect that from herself but instills it in every athlete that she comes in contact with.
Her sessions require both energy and focus, but she also likes to bring an element of fun into them.
She earned her Bachelors of Science degree from Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin in 2007 with a degree in Athletic Training. While at the CUW she competed on the Women’s Basketball Team for 3 years before for injuries ended her career. As an athletic training student, Stephanie worked with the women’s volleyball team, men’s soccer team, women’s basketball team, as well as football and cross country teams. Here she gained and demonstrated knowledge with rehabilitation programs, technique and designing of training protocols. Her ATC background allows her to apply a medically based knowledge prevention program to her training as well.
Stephanie is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by the Strength and Conditioning Association.
