Scott J. Hudson MS, ATC, CSCS
Internship Coordinator
Scott has been involved in the sports arena for over 13 years. He has experience working with all levels of athletes from the recreational to the professional.
For the past 11 years, he served as an athletic trainer for the United States Tennis Association covering professional tennis tournaments all over the United States as well as internationally. His responsibilities included injury prevention, rehabilitation, and addressing the muscular weaknesses of over 100 athletes a week.
His passion for tennis is evident by the programs he has developed with regards to rotational training. His ability to evaluate the shoulder and hip musculature enables the athletes he works to achieve their maximum athletic potential.
Scott rejoins the St. Vincent team after a 9 year hiatus when he served as the Head Athletic Trainer at Carmel High School from 1994 – 1997. From 1997 – 2002, he owned and operated Fitness Rx, an athletic performance company in Philadelphia. He spent the last 4 years at Concordia University Wisconsin as a faculty/staff member in the Athletic Training Education Program.
Scott graduated from Indiana University with a BS in Physical Education (Athletic Training emphasis) in 1991 and an MS in Kinesiology (Preventative Rehabilitative Exercise) in 1993. He holds certifications with the National Athletic Trainers Association and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. |
