Vince Welch 

Vince Welch, our most recent addition to the SVSPC staff, is a nationally recognized sportscaster who has more than 20 years experience broadcasting a wide range of sports.  Vince’s role for SVSPC will include client and media relations.

As an auto racing commentator for ESPN and ABC Sports, Welch covers the pit-lane for the IndyCar Series® and NASCAR®. He is a longtime member of the broadcast team delivering "live" coverage of the Indianapolis 500. 

You can also see Welch reporting from the sideline on ESPN and ABC's college football coverage. 

The Indianapolis native is also the TV play-by-play announcer for the Ball State Sports Network, which broadcasts BSU basketball throughout the midwest.

The Emmy Award winner is the reporter who broke arguably the biggest sports story in the state's history, the firing of Indiana University head basketball coach Bob Knight.
